Originally built by Merv and Sharyn Muller in 2006, and later nurtured by the wonderful Paula Rakei, this iconic retreat has always been more than just a place to sleep—it is a home away from home.

Now, Shelley and Andrew Murphy are honoured to carry that legacy forward. Having taken over in January 2026, Shelley and Andrew bring their own love for high-quality service and country comfort to the business. They understand that it’s the small touches — the crackle of the fire, the local knowledge, and the genuine welcome — that make a stay memorable.
